Awesome Annie’s 2009 Nikon Calendar Review
Danella Photographic is going green ! Just kidding of course, but any business that doesn’t publish that won’t ever get into the Utica Observer Dispatch Progress Edition.
Three months into the year, and finally the Awesome Annie 2009 Nikon Calendar review gets published ! No wonder Danella Photographic didn’t get a bailout, a TARP, a twitter from B. Obama or a mention in the Utica Observer Dispatch Progress/Business Update Special Sunday Edition.
We deserve to be snubbed.
After reviewing ( and slightly editing ) Awesome Annie’s 2009 commentary, our only sadness here is that the calendar wasn’t published by Canon.
If you still don’t have a Nikon 2009 calendar, we actually still have some so cruise in and pick one up. If you are not in the Utica area, we’ll be happy to mail one to you for the cost of the postage while supplies last.
Awesome Annie’s comments for the pictures appear under each image.
There’s a box at the end of this article that states ” Leave A Reply. “ Your comments either about the photographs or about Awesome Annie’s commentary should be left there. It’s cool when you comment. It’s green.
Enjoy
January
“Eww, look at that one. Is that a boy or a girl? I thought it was a boy but it looks like it has …………( word deleted ).”
February
“what I hate about these is they fixed it all like that – it’s staged”
March
“no thrill”
April
“oh my god, look at those doors hanging off the hinges. I think monkey boy would tell you not to take a picture where the doors are hanging off the wall. It’s like having wires in the photo. Who would want to put that hanging in your living room? ”
May
“This looks like Alice down the rabbit hole.”
June
” Ick”
July
“Supposedly youthful patriotism. I think that’s a sicko. A fever dream if I ever saw one.”
August
“Now this a real picture. Really cool, I like that.”
September
“That’s nice. It looks like a paranoid’s picture. All the eyes staring.”
October
” Oh my, here we go. This is just . . .very colorful.”
November
“This is a real rich bitch. Oh it’s a him, oh well. Must be a transgender dog.”
December
” I don’t know. Just yucky.”

Okay, just wondering was Awesome Annie’s commentary is honest or just to get us all fired up? In any event, love checking it out!
Some of my thoughts:
Jan - Who cares about the gender, photo shouted JOY to me. Looking closer, wish the garages weren’t there… I’d rather nature based. Bare feet would have added too.
Feb - Yes, staged but a new way to look at those elements. I got caught up in the curves.
March - Like the diagonal, that’s about it.
April - Love the color work and the shutters, no character without!
May - Hummm, looks like a southern plantation I visited…
June - Liked the colors, could I keep the boat?
July - Obvious Photoshop, not impressed.
Aug - Love the water, caught the wave great… but I live for summer and beaches!
Sept - My favorite comment from Annie! Never even saw the eyes, she made the boring fun! WTG Annie!
Oct - Nat’l Geo here we come, speaking of being picky… I didn’t like the bobby pins!
Nov - I tire of pet photos, rent a kid! (how’s that for a comment with edge?)
Dec - I was mesmerized by the platium color of the water, flower should have been something more original.
So glad Annie gave her review, missed it untill now. Thanks Annie!

In the 4th image down, the image for the month of April, those
crooked things in real life are referred to as shutters, not doors.
They are hanging from window frames not door frames, that
should have been your first clue.

I don’t like any of them, not even the “Alice in Wonderland” shot. But then again, what do I know!
